About us

Zermansky and Partners is an independent firm of solicitors, founded in 1955. Both partners and staff come from diverse backgrounds with many and varied personal as well as professional attributes to equip them to serve a similarly diverse clientele. Several of our team are fluent in foreign languages, for example Punjabi, and "competent" in French and German.

It is a source of pride that several of our members of staff have worked for the firm for many years. The founder of the firm, Victor Zermansky, a former president of the Leeds Law Society, retains his close connection with us as a consultant, as does Jerry Pearlman, also a former president of the Leeds Law Society.

We act for individuals, businesses of all types and sizes and professional practices. Our family department comprises a team of dedicated and experienced solicitors who will give advice and take action which is appropriate to the needs of the client but in a manner which complies with the resolution code of practice.

Chris Preston is a trained collaborative lawyer who is dedicated to promoting and developing collaborative family law as a better way for many couples to resolve their problems in a non-confrontational process. Judith Glynn has particular expertise in child abduction matters. The team includes specialists in matters relating to children, both private and public law.
