About us

The firm started practising on the 1 August 2012. Prior to that Margaret and Dee formed the Family Team at another firm in Bishop's Stortford, Margaret having been there for 22 years and Dee for 10 years. Both have specialised in Family Law for over 25 years each. Their vision for the firm is to provide a holistic approach to relationship breakdown drawing on the expertise of other professionals to support the client through the process. Such experts will include Counsellors, Family Consultants, IFA's and Accountants through referrals. Our expertise has been in medium to high net worth clients, disputes over children, Collaborative Law including cases with an international element. We are both members of Resolution and follow their code of practice.

We cover all aspects of family law including Pre and Post Nuptial agreements Civil Partnership disputes, family property and assets Domestic violence Cohabitation disputes and of course Divorce and separation. Our initial diagnostic interview provides a general overview with options and cost estimates. It is entirely without obligation and at a charge of £60 inclusive of vat.

We formed our own niche family practice to enable us to develop the services we offer with a view to promoting non court based dispute resolution as well as offering the traditional approach and to provide the non legal support that family breakdown deserves.
