We are the largest family law team in the North East. Although the majority of our clients live within travelling distance of us we undertake work for clients living at a distance when this meets their needs. For example, we work for clients living in London who would rather pay out of London rates.

Divorce in the 21st century is not about winning or losing. Bitter and angry court cases cost a lot both financially and emotionally and leave both sides unhappy. We know that no one every truly 'wins' a family law case and a bad divorce can leave lasting scars for the whole family. We aim to leave our clients with more of their own money and their dignity intact, secure in the knowledge that they have made the best possible arrangements for their family.
We are convinced of the benefits of alternatives to court in relationship breakdown and we have experienced collaborative family lawyers and a family mediator in our team.
