About us

Borneo Linnells are a well established, well respective legal practice with offices in Bedford, Milton Keynes and Newport Pagnell providing a wide range of legal services to business and individual clients.

The family department is recommended in the Legal 500 2006 and 5 out of 20 of the Members specialise in this area. Approximately 35% of the firm’s workload is family work. All area’s of family work are covered including divorce, finance matters, children issues, injunctions and care work.

The department has 20 family lawyers making it one of the largest family departments in the country. The team has over 175 years legal experience between them.

Jason Lazard heads the department and the Milton Keynes branch.

Our Chief Executive, Stephen Holmes, heads the Bedford team. Stephen has almost 30 years legal experience and has been a member of the Law Society’s Children’s Panel since inception.

Jane Charlton, one of only a small number of accredited collaborative family lawyers in the area, heads the Newport Pagnell team.

The renowned care team is headed by Sam Phelan from our Bedford office. 3 of the Members are on the Children’s Panel, 1 senior Solicitor is approved to undertake work on behalf of Guardians pending reinstatement of his Panel membership following a sabbatical and 5 other lawyers also specialise in public work on behalf of parents/grandparents.
