The MindinfoLine offers thousands of callers confidential help on a range of mental health issues. Call 0845 766 0163 from anywhere in the UK for the price of a local call. They also provide a special legal service to the public, lawyers and mental health workers.

How can Mind help you?
Topics range from types of mental distress, where to get help and drug treatments, to alternative therapies, who's who in mental health services and advocacy. We have an extensive library and have produced over 100 booklets and factsheets which are updated regularly to give the latest information on mental health issues. Their database contains details of local Mind associations and other organisations so you can find help in their own areas.

What Mind does not do?
Mind does not give medical advice but they can talk about mental and emotional distress. They are not able to provide ongoing support.
Are there any factsheets?
Yes, there are factsheets and booklets on their their website. These can be also be sent by post and if you are waged, the charity asks for a donation.
There are many ways to support Mind (see their website for details) and one of the easiest ways is to use their charity shops or donate to them.
