Adults often think that children and young people aren't really affected by the violence if they don't see all the fighting. You probably know that this isn't true. Even if you don't see the shouting or the hitting, you've probably heard it or maybe you've seen your parent bruised or upset after an argument. Many children and young people are at home, in the next room, when the fighting is happening.

Or talk to your Mum or Dad, aunty, grandma or a teacher. Speak to someone you can trust and you will soon feel better and less worried. Sometimes our worries aren't really real. Share a worry and you might just find that it wasn't worth so much hassle.
